Fonds consists of research materials generated in preparation for Southcott's book The Sound of the Drum: The Sacred Art of the Anishnabec (Erin, Ontario: Boston Mills Press, 1984). Fonds consists of the administrative records of Photo Eclipse, including its founding and operation of The Photo Passage gallery at Harbourfront. Fonds also includes photographic documentation of several exhibitions held at The Photo Passage, and records of advocacy efforts related to public support for photography in Canada in which Pamela Harris was involved.

Fonds consists of material produced by Pleasure Dome in Toronto for its programs of film and video exhibitions between 1989 and 2016, including press releases, clippings of notices and reviews, programming records with correspondence, and related material.

Fonds consists of the administrative files created by the Mercer Union gallery during the first twenty years of its existence, including photographs and slides, material printed for the gallery (catalogues, posters, invitations etc.), newspaper reviews, and a small number of video tapes, audio tapes and computer disks. Files remain in the order they were received; errors in filing have not been corrected. The collection consists of research files created by Angela Grigor in preparation for her book Arthur Lismer: visionary art educator (McGill-Queen’s University Press, 2002). Materials in Series 1,2 and 3 are primarily photocopies from original periodicals, pamphlets and exhibition catalogues found in institutions in Canada, the United States and England. The collection contains Angela Grigor’s correspondence with these institutions and with Arthur Lismer’s daughter, Marjorie Lismer Bridges, and her daughter, Janet Cauffiel. A number of interviews are documented, including recordings of two interviews with Arthur Lismer for the CBC, and the many interviews Angela Grigor conducted with former students, fellow teachers and other associates of the artist.
