Item is a notebook used by Lucius O’Brien to record sales of his paintings year by year between 1882 and 1895, including names of purchasers and prices paid, both privately and at exhibitions. Notes in the journal also include income from art lessons. Beginning at the back of the journal on inverted pages (p. 94–[126]) are checklists of names of members of the Ontario Society of Artists and their addresses; with household and other notes.
Extracts from catalogues of art dealers and exhibitors and other material pasted into the journal include items from the Art Association of Montreal; Jno. B. Hall, M.D., Toronto; Thomas McLean’s Gallery in Haymarket, London; Matthews Brothers, Toronto; Dolman & Son Picture Frame Makers &c., London; W. Scott & Sons, Montreal; and the Palette Club, Toronto. Some leaves of pasted items have become detached.
Enclosures (loose) consist of a drawing of a sailing vessel, signed by the artist and dated 1882 (1 leaf); and a letter (1883) from J. Nathan, Burlington Gallery, London (1 leaf).

Fonds consists of Art Directors Club, Toronto official records, correspondence, records of club meetings, committee reports, membership records, exhibitions and awards dinner records, and other material.

Collection consists of raw footage and edited versions of Jim Shedden and Alexa Shaw’s documentary Michael Snow Up Close.

Fonds documents Elke Town’s activity in the visual arts in Toronto between the years 1974 and 1991. The files are related to various positions she held, beginning with A Space in 1974, and the curatorial work she carried out at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Gallery 76 at OCAD, Art Metropole and as an independent curator. There are also files related to her writing about visual art and video for numerous publications such as C Magazine, Vanguard, Parachute and Canadian Art.

Fonds consists of material documenting the Women's Art Resource Centre as a gallery and provider of educational programming, facilities, and research resources to support and promote women artists, including photographs, slides, exhibition promotion, workshop flyers, brochures, posters, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and publications.

Collection consists of General Idea ephemera including exhibition and performance invitations, postcards, flyers, tickets and similar items.

Fonds consists of the records of the life and work of Sorel Etrog, including his personal, professional and literary correspondence; records of exhibitions and of acquisitions of his work by various galleries and collectors; administrative records related to various projects and collaborations by the artist; preparatory and experimental works on paper (“study drawings”); a selection of preparatory maquettes for sculptures; publicity materials including exhibition invitations and press clippings; and comprehensive documentation (photographs and lists) of the artist’s finished work. Three paintings by art collector and patron Samuel Zacks are also included.

Fonds consists of materials created, received, or collected by members of the Fairlie family. This includes textual records, personal and professional correspondence, financial and legal documents, newspapers and articles, publications, posters and promotional material from Alan’s filmmaking career, as well as photographic material such as studio portraits, film stills, and a number of negatives depicting travel destinations and events.

Fonds consists of a single scrapbook compiled by the artist, containing press clippings, illustrations clipped from exhibition catalogues, and four photographs.

The sketchbook contains 27 naturalistic watercolours of Canadian wildflowers painted by Maud Yarker, with 1 partial (torn) sheet of watercolour possibly detached from another sketchbook.
