Collection consists of records accumulated by Ric Amis between 1982 and 1994 from organizations with which he was affiliated in Toronto, including Citizens for the Arts, Beaver Hall Artists’ Housing Co-operative, Lakeshore Village Artists’ Housing Co-operative, Toronto Artscape, Toronto Independent Media Enterprises/Cultural Arts Centre (Toronto) Incorporated, Canadian Artists Network: Black Artists in Action, and the Live/Work Space Building Code Working Group.
Collection comprises records of meetings of boards and committees; business and legal correspondence; provincial, municipal and other reports and policy documents; administrative records of organizations; research materials on artists’ co-operative housing; feasibility studies for projects; architectural drawings, and related material.

Suzy Lake fonds

Fonds consists of correspondence, sketches, exhibition notices and posters, press clippings, photographs, financial records, and artefacts relating to Iain Baxter’s career as an artist and university instructor. Also included are records of Baxter’s employment by Labatt’s Canada as Creative Consultant, and of his collaborations with Louise Chance Baxter.

Christine Boyanoski-W.J. Wood collection

Collection consists of photocopies of W.J. Wood’s correspondence with Group of Seven members and others. Collection also includes photocopies of poems by Wood, exhibition-related records, and selected summaries and transcriptions of correspondence. Material comprising this collection was gathered by curator Christine Boyanoski in the course of her research toward the exhibition William J. Wood: Graphics and Drawings (Art Gallery of Ontario, 1983). The collection is arranged in a single series, in which file titles correspond to sections in Boyanoski’s binders.

Kathleen Munn fonds

Fonds consists of nine notebooks kept by Kathleen Munn as a student at the Art Student’s League in New York City and at the Summer program in Woodstock, NY. The books contain a meticulous record of her exposure to ideas about artistic theory, philosophy and art history. Undated drawings, prints and unbound notes are also included, and a group of ‘arts-and-crafts’ inspired decorative designs. The fonds contains more than 1800 pencil drawings executed as studies for her mature work on the subject of the Christian Passion. Photographs of eight of these completed drawings are included. Collection consists of a series of recorded interviews gathered or commissioned by Ann Davis in the course of her research for her biographical work Somewhere Waiting: The Life and Art of Christiane Pflug. Several interviews were conducted by Ann Davis’ assistant, Elizabeth Schwaiger, who is a professional translator. The subjects of the interviews are people with whom Christiane had contact with throughout her life. For the most part, the interviews focus on the interviewees’ relationship to Christiane and/or her family. The collection also contains older recordings with the voice of Christiane herself.
