Subseries consists of general programming records generated by the Women’s Committee and Junior Women’s Committee. Materials include records pertaining to the ongoing major activities of the Women’s Committee, including: Art Tours to different cities, educational lectures and programs, annual balls and special events at the AGO, fundraising events and lotteries, art purchases made by the committee, and others. Materials include correspondence, meeting minutes, financial documents and budgets, committee reports, and event planning materials (e.g. staffing lists, invitations, licenses, itineraries).

Women’s Committee and Junior Women’s Committee records were interfiled by the creator; records have been grouped by the processing archivist into Junior Women’s Committee and Women’s Committee within their respective boxes. The original arrangement of the records has been maintained unless otherwise noted. Files are arranged chronologically for the majority of the subseries, with multiple activities per box. The exception to this is boxes 31-39, which contain the records of major single events which span multiple boxes each (e.g. KaleidAGO!, Women’s Committee Lotteries).
