Series consists of printing plates prepared by Greg Curnoe.

Pop bottle collection

Series consists of Greg Curnoe’s collection of regional pop bottles, representing brands Wishing Well, Sport, Snow White, Brunswick, Pepsi-Cola, Pure Spring, Moran, Calgary, Browns, Wilson’s, Twisty Cola, Taylor’s, Pachal’s, and Christin. Most bottles are full and sealed but several are empty. Bottles are contained in original cardboard carry trays and displayed on a wire rack. These bottles represent a selection by the artist from his larger collection of approximately 200 pop bottles that was kept in his studio; see box 52 and folder 2-10 for Curnoe’s inventories of this larger group.

Series consists of files relating to retrospective exhibition at the National Gallery of Canada (1981), including correspondence, contracts, loan forms, drafts of catalogue, small black & white photos of works, copies of invitation, and other material.

Inventories of art works

Series consists of a file card inventory of Greg Curnoe’s art works in four sequences, each in a plastic box: Studio (yellow box); Consignment (white box); [unlabelled] (grey box); and [unlabelled, featuring rubber-stamped stars in upper right corners of cards] (blue box). Art works date from 1953 to 1978 (predominant 1960-1977). Series also contains a list of Curnoe’s paintings with owners and prices paid.
