Series comprises gallery documents, magazines, and newspaper clippings. Series includes gallery notices of exhibition acceptances of Florence Vale’s and Albert Franck’s art and gallery exhibition catalogues, pamphlets, and invitations. Series consists of correspondence, invoices from shippers and photographers, customs and shipping forms, insurance policies with accompanying lists of art works, and index cards containing descriptions of works in the collection. Also included is a card catalogue of reference books. Index cards were originally housed in metal boxes. Files have been grouped by subject.

Series consists of notebooks created by Dennis Burton, containing a wide variety of writing (journal-style, expository, teaching notes, etc.), sketches, diagrams, ephemera, photographs, natural history specimens and other material, on a broad range of topics; series also includes addenda to certain of these notebooks.

Series comprises personal diaries written by Jack Bush in Toronto between 1952 and 1976. The 24 volumes of diaries, a form of therapy suggested by Bush’s psychiatrist Allan Waters, describe events from his family life and career.

F.H. Varley correspondence to Kathleen McKay

Series comprises F.H. Varley’s correspondence to Kathleen McKay during his absences from Toronto in the 1950s while he was in the Soviet Union, in Whycocomagh, N.B. and in St. Andrew’s East, Quebec. Some of this correspondence was photocopied and transcribed in 1978.

Series consists of correspondence with institutions, notes of thanks for personal tours, documentation relating to the loan of works including customs, shipping and insurance forms, texts of catalogue essays, lists of invitees to openings, corrected catalogue proofs, press clippings and telegrams.
