Scope and content
File consists of an experimental cyanotype self-portrait that was created by Astman in 1980. Astman was invited by artist David Bierk to teach a summer workshop at Canadore College, North Bay, Ontario, where they created a number of cyanotypes outdoors, including this one by Astman. It was then used by Astman as a sample to show students in her Historical Processes course in the Photography Department.
