Scope and content
Series comprises the working papers of Micah Lexier. Items include correspondence, design mock-ups, tests, sketches, descriptions and other documents pertaining to the design and fabrication of artworks. Also includes accounting records, files pertaining to curatorial and design projects, and general correspondence with galleries and curators. Each file contains documents pertaining to the design and fabrication of an individual project completed by Micah Lexier as identified in the File Title, unless otherwise indicated. Any items of note have been indicated in the Contents section at the discretion of the processing archivist.

Files comprising Series 1 were organized chronologically by the creator. Accounting, Curatorial, and Design files were originally filed separately, but have been interfiled in Series 1 by the processing archivist in consultation with the artist. The original order has otherwise been maintained.
