Fonds consists of Robert Fones’ correspondence, journals, sketchbooks, art production materials and files for artworks and public art commissions, unpublished handmade artists books, a set of rubber stamps used for correspondence art, and ephemera related to Coach House Press, a publisher Fones had a longstanding relationship with. Fonds also includes Fones’ research and business files as well as files related to his design, curatorial and writing projects.

Fonds consists of the records of the life and work of Sorel Etrog, including his personal, professional and literary correspondence; records of exhibitions and of acquisitions of his work by various galleries and collectors; administrative records related to various projects and collaborations by the artist; preparatory and experimental works on paper (“study drawings”); a selection of preparatory maquettes for sculptures; publicity materials including exhibition invitations and press clippings; and comprehensive documentation (photographs and lists) of the artist’s finished work. Three paintings by art collector and patron Samuel Zacks are also included.

Fonds consists of Suzy Lake’s documentation of her artistic projects and exhibitions, records of her teaching activity at the University of Guelph, trial proofs used in the production of photo murals, and an example of early experimental work by the artist. Fonds also includes Lake’s grandfather’s sketchbook from his studies at the Detroit Institute of Arts.

Collection consists chiefly of illustrative works by Canadian graphic artist Thoreau MacDonald, including a portfolio of drawings for an unpublished illustrated edition of Henry David Thoreau’s study Walden and a volume of layouts for the novel Maria Chapdelaine by French author Louis Hémon. Collection also includes some correspondence.

Collection consists of posters designed by Will Munro for events organized by him at various venues in downtown Toronto. Posters employ a variety of media and processes, including silkscreen and photocopies. Some of these posters were featured in Will Munro: Total Eclipse, July 31-September 26, 2010, part of the Toronto Now series of exhibitions at the AGO. Silk-screening of many of the posters was carried out by Michael Comeau.

Fonds consists of material documenting the Women's Art Resource Centre as a gallery and provider of educational programming, facilities, and research resources to support and promote women artists, including photographs, slides, exhibition promotion, workshop flyers, brochures, posters, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and publications.

Fonds documents Workscene Gallery as an artist collective, artist-run gallery and publisher in Toronto, including photographs, negatives, slides , photo albums, one poster, newspaper clippings, invitations, guest books, log books, exhibition catalogues, one video tape, address stamp and corporate seal.
