Handmade artist books

Series is comprised of unpublished artist books by Robert Fones created between 1964 and 1972. The bulk of the books are dated 1964 and 1965 while Fones was attending H.B. Beal Secondary School in London, Ontario. Two books, Ticket to Ride and Letters I’ve Known and Loved: the Life and Legend of the Alphabet are incomplete and unbound. Only the book jacket for Norwegian Wood was completed. All books contain original artwork and text.

File consists of records from the Design Department relating to the production of buttons reading "Hands On" and "Art Matters." Includes an order form, a page of button designs, and a project information sheet.

Handwritten notes on 1972-3 projects and sketches

File consists of 14 pages of handwritten notes and sketches. The handwritten notes include "Projects planned for the 72-73 Application," July 1973 reflections on consciousness, philosophy and other ideas, and undated notes on "Inverse Universes" and other topics. File mainly contains materials from the early 1970s, with some undated materials.

File contains photos of paintings and prints by American/Canadian artist Harold Elmer Feist (1945- ) from 1970-1976 with a résumé and clippings. File includes 9 photographic prints and 76 slides (photographs).

File consists of a brochure for the exhibition, Atma Buddhi Manas: The Later Work of Lawren S. Harris (1985), featuring information about the exhibition as well as a tear-away coupon for $1 off the price of the exhibition's catalogue.
