Correspondence

File consists of Winsom's personal and professional correspondence. Includes correspondence relating to exhibitions and other artistic projects, grant applications, art education, and other topics.

Toronto Star 1988

File consists of clippings and photocopies of a 1988 Toronto Star article written by Christopher Hume titled "Black artists enter the Toronto mainstream," which includes references to Winsom's involvement in the Weapons of Culture exhibition at A Space Gallery.

Exhibition files

Series consists of material related to various exhibitions and includes invitations, artist lists, brochures, guest books, photographs, slides, negatives, contact sheets, press clippings, press releases, grant application materials related to specific exhibitions and one video tape. Individual files contain some or all of these; the presence of photographs, slides, negatives, contact sheets or video tapes is noted. The guest books span multiple shows and are grouped in the final file. The files are arranged roughly chronologically with files for each year containing materials from smaller exhibitions and separate files for larger exhibitions. Within the files the materials are arranged chronologically where possible with exceptions noted.

Series consists of a group of palettes gathered from the artist’s studio following his death.
