Winsom Foundation

File consists of records relating to the Winsom Foundation, a Belize-based non-profit organization established by Winsom in 2007.includes printed material such as a brochure, flyers, and event posters, an Art Journal by the Art Students of Cristo Rey R.C. School (a project that was supported by the Winsom Foundation), as well as correspondence, a certificate, and a form relating to a tour of the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH). Also includes a copy of the publication This is How We Keep Breathing: Voices from Belize & Beyond..., which is an anthology of poetry and short stories resulting from a collaboration between OCAD U and the Winsom Foundation. Winsom also contributed writings and illustrations to the publication.

File consists of clippings and printouts from publications relating to Winsom's exhibitions, activities, and community work in Belize. Includes material relating to I Am The Alchemist (2007), Winsom's work with the Cristo Rey Primary School, the Women in Art exhibition(s) organized by the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH), and other projects. Also includes an issue of the magazine BAFFUprinted, 2016, which features an article about an organization Winson was involved with in Belize.

File consists of instructional documents, notes, and related records regarding the process of creating image transfer prints using a variety of materials and techniques, including oil, tape, vellum, and wood. Includes related graphic material, such as image transfers on a variety of materials, acetate overlays, and printouts. Some works were created by students, as labeled by their names. Also includes three wood reliefs featuring images of Albert Einstein and a bird, which were used as visual aids in teaching and include notes regarding steps taken to prepare a digital image for this purpose.

Posters and promotional material

File consists of posters and other promotional material relating to Winsom's exhibitions and other projects featuring Winsom's work, including "uhuru sasa/ freedom now" (1991) and Black Wimmin, When and Where We Enter (1989). Also includes a brochure for "Toronto Tributes + Tributaries 1971-1989" (2016).

File consists of records relating to Winsom's exhibitions and other projects in Belize. Predominantly includes promotional material and related documents for exhibitions in Belize, including Women in Art (2011, 2015, 2016) and 29: Artists, Works, Years. Also includes records relating to the Belizean Women's Art Collective, who were mentored and inspired by Winsom.
