Series contains correspondence between the AIO (mainly Paul Bennett) and other centres. Correspondence largely concerns travelling exhibitions and invitations for Bennett to guest lecture at institutions nationwide. Some files may also contain booking forms, press releases, annual reports, catalogues, attendance reports, newsletters and bulletins, meeting minutes and newspaper clippings.

Series is arranged in alphabetical order by the corresponding institutions’ geographical location (with some noted exceptions). Records have been grouped together by institution in instances where folders contain correspondence with more than one centre. In some cases, records have been grouped together by document type or by subject.
The contents description of each folder lists the individual organizations in correspondence with the AIO. Contents descriptions are left blank where the institutional affiliation of correspondents is not specified.
