Scope and content

Series contains correspondence and reports relating to lectures and lecture tours developed and sponsored by the AIO. Some records also relate to the AGT and its outreach development, specifically.

By 1949, the Art Gallery of Toronto demonstrated an interest in providing art demonstrations and lectures as a new outreach strategy. In 1964, Paul Bennett began organizing and undertaking lecture tours on various art-related topics across the province.
